A results-driven, technical leader passionate about building performant, scalable, modern web applications
I specialize in building high-performing teams that work cross-functionally to deliver cohesive user experiences by building a centralized suite of foundational design tools.
Currently, I am a Technical Lead for the Material Web Components team at Google, having previously served as a Technical Lead Manager on Google Search.
Before joining Google, I was a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Two Sigma on the Venn engineering team, helping build a platform that investors use to consolidate data and perform out-of-the-box quantitative analyses. My leadership experience also extends to DigitalOcean, where I served as the Engineering Manager of the Client Engineering team. There, I coordinated product implementations across multiple verticals and led a team of frontend engineers through a major re-architecture of the Control Panel application from server-rendered to a client-rendered SPA.
Earlier in my career, I architected and shipped core features—like "Snooze" and group calendar scheduling—as a Software Engineer at Mixmax, and led a complete rewrite of the mobile web application as a Technical Lead at Imgur.
I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
When I’m away from the keyboard, you can usually find me wrangling my two kids, deep-diving into atmospheric puzzle games, or tracking down period-accurate hardware for my latest DIY home restoration project.
